  1. can you connect more memory to the ipad pro 12+ inch?  Most mobile system have some sort of architecture that allows SD card or connections to usb drives; shocked apple did not add in SD capacity to system, and feel the 8MB camera is ridiculous for even a cheap mobile phone let alone a mobile system that supposedly replaces a laptop.

  2. let's talk about consumer experience. some reason why I prefer the ipad pro…
    1. Screen quality
    2. video editing (okay less options, I agree) but it's so quick that's seems to work wirth pics. Try that with the surface…
    3. For some reason I focus better on the ipad….

  3. No, no. This just doesn't work as a laptop replacement. Firstly, iOS still isn't mature enough to take full advantage of the power that A9X packs, it's still very undeniably a tablet OS. Secondly, it isn't very much advanced in terms of capability compared to the iPad Air 2. If that isn't a laptop replacement, this isn't either.

  4. ipad pro is not a consumer product – it will live or die on the enterprise.

For individual consumers it makes no sense and will only result in frustration.

Enterprises on the other hand will gravitate toward the pro based on the security of ios and custom ERP based apps — or maybe they won't.

Unless you are the CIO of a major company – suggest you move along. Nothing for you here.

  5. If I buy a new IPad Pro  and a new IPhone 6 will I be able to do the most basic of functions, like copy a photo from the iPad to the IPhone?

  6. At the end of the day it's a just massive iPad so Apple can compete with the Surface if Apple needs to make it they probably lost sales because of what they were losing to

  7. Speakers and weight? Wow that's reaching. A 32GB iPad Pro with a keyboard and pen is the same price as a 128GB Surface Pro 4 with a keyboard and pen. Mobile OS vs. Desktop OS. Bottom line. If you have a grown up job it's pretty obvious which one you'd pick. And that boils it down to one reason and one reason only that you'd buy an iPad Pro: you like Apple stuff.

  8. The big problem is the price, really you could have 2-3 Galaxy Note Pro with that price, and it's 12,2 inches and come with a stylus that works without a battery and it's free, no need to charge another extra. Of course, it would be like compare Ios vs Android but that's not the point, it does support multitasks (I don't use multi at all, really it's funny then you zap it), but it can act like a real computer, you can access the drive, with an otg you can connect whatever you want etc etc etc No kidding, the only big issue I have on my Galaxy Note Pro is the poor rom and the poor rom support they are giving, because… It's getting old already, like 2 years old ! In France I bought one for 340$, 32Go version Wifi, you can even buy a LTE version that support phone calls and yes, there's apps like Photoshop and everything and the screen got a double HD resolution. That's my point of view really, I have an Ipad Air that's taking the dust because no, you can't do everything with it as it, even with a keyboard attached to it.

  9. im glad apple thinks its appropriate to charge over $1000 for a over sized and under powered hunk of shit and $100 for a stupid stylus that most manufacturers include for free with a slot or magnetic zone to store on the go.
well done people, keep buying yesterdays tech from apple for triple the price than other much better products. i honestly cannot find a single reason why the ios platform is even worth using. its a glorified toy.

  10. This Apple offering is obviously directed at a particular creative/productivity audience, and as a professional designer/illustrator, I can't wait to get my hands on it for that very reason, especially the bigger size and Pencil, as I have gone thru 3 other Wacom and Adonit styli and wholly dissatisfied with performance and capability.

A lot is said about it not running the Mac OS and pales in comparison to the Surface which does run a full OS. Yeah, well, I've heard all the horror stories from creative professionals who have tried using Photoshop on a Surface with the lag and barely perceptible UI—neither conducive to a professional workflow.

I would never try to do finished, professional client work on a 15" or smaller screen (I reserve that for my iMac and Cintiq 27" displays) and look at the iPad/iPad Pro as a portable, flexible workflow device, not an endgame solution. With apps like Procreate and those that Adobe is developing specifically for iOS the iPad Pro becomes a very useful and productive tool in the hands of the professional creative.
