  1. Using this case screams "I'm too stupid to realize I could buy an alternative, more powerful Android phone + a $20 extended battery that is way cheaper than this phone + case price". Cmon iOS users, is this what yall are coming to?

  2. If you bought an Android phone you could just use an SD card and replace the battery or even better just use an OTG cable and use it for content consumption. Save yourself the €150+…

  4. Well this is fantastic! but android fans, stop hating, everyone has there own preference… some people just like apple more. i mean, apple products have so much accessories its crazy… unfortunately android can't perform as smooth as apple IOS can with 3rd party accessories. android is getting there though

  5. I guess it's a good idea for someone who probably should have bought a 32 or 64 GB iPhone in the first place. But I could never put a case as long as that one on a phone as slim and compact as the iPhone for the extra juice.

  6. Pathetic. Mophie is getting desperate for real. It's like they act like we don't have icloud storage, box, skydrive… I'll wait till the Chinese make a knock off. Thank you.

  7. Pretty nice idea for iphone/ios users, hopefully there will be cheaper alternatives in the near future. 150+ for what is essentially a battery pack with a built-in flash drive is pricy

  8. So basically your getting on the outside, what could be on the inside of your device to begin with (if u picked a different phone). I mean its now as big/way thicker than an android anyway.

  9. Ripoff especially considering that you can purchase a 20,000 mAh battery pack on ebay for less than $20. $150 with no storage is insane, and targeted at people who have more money than brains. It is not much effort to simply take a lithium polymer battery, and stuff it into a case that has a groove for your smartphone to also connect to. Furthermore li-ion charging and monitoring chips, cost around 10-15 cents, and boost DC to DC converters, can be had for under 25 cents (which is why you see so many low cost USB battery banks on ebay.

All this company is doing is implementing one of those cheap devices, with a smaller battery, and in a custom case that also fits the phone. And for the storage, they are likely implementing one of those $3 iphone sd card adapters within the case

Overall, this case is more fitting of a price tag of around $25 and not $150

  10. Yeah lets all pay $500 for a new phone than buy a $150 case when there are other phones out there that cost $300 and you can put a 64gb micro sd in them that cost at most $40.
