Claiming anything to be “the best” in a field as subjective as smartphones is asking for trouble, especially in a year of great Android phone releases. But I’ve carried the Samsung Galaxy S7, on and off, for the past 90 days … and when people ask me which is the best Android phone out there … it’s the Samsung Galaxy S7 that I point to. Join me for MrMobile’s long-overdue Galaxy S7 review – and let me know what smartphone works the best for you: sound off in the comments below! (Just keep it clean, you guys; we’re all friends here.)

Graphics erroneously state the Galaxy S7 has 3GB of RAM. In fact, it has 4GB. MrMobile regrets the error.

This review was based on 90 days of usage on retail hardware purchased by Mobile Nations. It was tested on T-Mobile and AT&T between Greater Boston, New York City, and rural Long Island. Throughout the test period, the Galaxy S7 was paired with a Motorola Moto…

  1. You listed it as having 3gb of ram. Should be 4gb. Also, are you sure the speaker is loud? Seems like the opposite to me compared to the s6 and other phones.

  2. Great review always, I'm no Samsung fan but there's no denying that the S7 and S7 Edge are the best Android Phones or probably best phones overall that you can get. But I'd still wouldn't buy it over the Nexus 6P though, with price, stock Android and timely updates being my reasons.

  3. hi michael i am really happy to see you back in reviewing smaprtphones i have an s6 edge do you recommend me to upgrade to the note 7 next month or wait for the s8 ?

  4. Can't compare cause I've never used multiple  phones as a daily driver. My Moto X Style works well enough for me. If it's blessed with Nougat, I l carry it till O comes out.

  5. I should have gotten this phone but I hated Samsung customer service when I broke my s6 edge. I am using a htc 10 and I am not loving it at all.  I actually think my nextbit robin was better than the 10.   If I can sell it ,I may get the s7 edge or 6P….thoughts?

  6. This is in my own one of the most enjoyable tech reviews I've seen on Youtube or elsewhere. My point isn't about technical details at all, but the all around watching experience, when you take these into account: the shooting and montage, the dulcet background music, the way Michael speaks at a well-paced rhythm… plus the humor. Watching MrMobile's videos feels rather like listening to a close and gentle friend sharing his experience.
