  1. Nice review, Damir!!! Two questions: How has a better battery life, the Z5 or the Z3? How many hours of screen gives the Z3? I want to buy a Z5 but the z3 is a nice smartphone too… So I'll wait for your answer. Thanks a lot…

  2. Nice review! I've been thinking about replacing my Note 5 due to no MicroSD card. And I have been looking at this model, but the 4k video lacks a bit Vs my Note 5. Either this or wait for the LG G5. Have you reviewed your Z5 Premium? Is the 4k display worth the extra? having no MicroSD card is a big issue for me now as my storage is almost full.

  3. still waiting sony to fix adaptive brightness. from lockscreen to home menu the color get washed out in a few second before the adaptive brightness taking control. the camera were awesome but the manual mode leaked manual speed control and i dont like the way their putting the setting to deep. need to click setting – more setting just to get iso selection, metering mode and focus option. hoping sony will polished their manual interface. the sound quality not bad but incoming ringer to slow due to only one speaker were used for incoming call sound. wished had option to activated both speaker for incoming call tone.

  5. Still using Z3 I have bought after watching your review and right now I see no real reason for moving on to Z5…. battery, performance, camera are still great after all that time and I dont think there is enough value in upgrading. And these awkwardly placed buttons.
    Nice review though!

  6. in my z5 when i shoot video on Fulll Hd(60fps),after 4 or 5 minute camera shuts off and says"Your camera needs to cool down". Its not the same when i shoot on Full HD(30fps)!! is it just my z5's problem or every z5's???

  7. Thanks. Good review, makes me think about getting this one later this year. Mate 8 is too big… well, I have to wait several months, so I'll see what will be available by then.

  8. Great review.

I went to a store to hold it on my hand and the edges didn't seem that bad anymore (last time I compared it to Z3+, that was removed from display now). Would not prefer it still, but I guess it could be fixed by buying some additional glass panels. Compared to my Moto G, I wasn't able to wrap fingers around the screen (small hands) but I got pretty close, so I'm satisfied with that too.

Overall, I'm still waiting for Z6 to fix some issues – edges (gestures, feel), fingerprint (some people are having issues + unlock without click would be nice), Sony's concept-like ROM (hate that notification bar icons are stuck in KitKat) and SD820 (just in case in terms of 810).

  9. I have the green version and loving the phone. I agree with you on the volume of the speakers. Wish it was a bit loader at times.

The phone is slippery and slime, so a case is a must in my opinion on this phone.

  10. Damir just wanted to say this: when i want to know somthing about a phone i always try to get the information from MKBHD , android athority, pocket now , or some other really awesome and good channels on youtube , but when i see that you've got the phone, its done its always the best overall roundup reviews about any phone . the best way to describe what you do to a phone in one of your reviews is that you ANATOMIZE them . the only thing i wish is if you could get your hand on even more phones. KEEP THE AMAZING REVIEWS COMING .

  12. Damir, I'm not sure whether my phone has problem of playing this youtube video or this video itself has error or bug. The video play with freeze frame with sound going on, weird. Thanks for this video anyway.
