Since 2004, Engadget has covered cutting edge devices and the technology that powers them. We’re looking beyond the gadgets themselves to explore how they impact our lives.

  1. having the snapdragon 820 cpu, 4gb ddr ram, a very good gpu ,latest version of android, bringing back the micro sd card, increasing the battery, improving the camera, making the screen even brighter for use in bright settings, curving the back for better in hand feel and easier to hold, and wrapping that all that up with ip 68 water resistance (pretty much proof for the average consumers daily activities) i think makes the s7 and s7 edge one of the best phones in a while ,i see it as more than just an "s" upgrade with all those changes ,funny that even if it only had 1-2 changes from the s6 but had a complete different design it would be considered as a whole new almost revolutionary device and everyone would go crazy over it and wouldnt call it just an "s" upgrade.
