Samsung Galaxy S7 Active – Hands on and Dunk Test

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is the waterproof version of their flagship smartphone. Watch as we put it through a dunk test and use it underwater.

The front of the Samsung Galaxy S7 active is smooth and looks just like the regular S7, with the addition of the three buttons on the front and the glass. The Active version of the S7 is shatterproof, waterproof and can resist most drops and spills.

There’s also an extra button on the left side, for the Activity Zone, where you can see all your fitness stats, elevation, and a compass.

The Galaxy S7 has a waterproof rating of IP68, same as the Galaxy S6 Active, so it can survive under 5 feet of water for 30 minutes. It also has the same military-grade rating as the Galaxy S6 Active. .

For specs, the Galaxy S7 Active is more or less the same as the regular S7. With a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. That’s powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
