  1. hey there, ur reviews r very cool and helpful, gt miband and all mi products, based on ur reviews, am facing a very odd situation, i gradually migrated from grand duos and all to mi3 and redmi note 3g, now problem lies with contact with miui, it does not let apps like contact optimiser or contact cleaner delete email contacts, now i have 5000 actual phone contacts, 3000 whatsapp contacts, and total 15000 contacts, meaning 10000 email contacts, i used to back up all contacts in nq cloud, since many months, i use mi account, now redmi note started to hang, a lot!, and when i tried reindexing contacts or finding duplicates, the contacts would crash, and thus, am stuck, so please help me, counting on u, to help me somehow rescue my 5000 useful contacts, i know i can choose which email or social network account i want to choose and stuff, but all contacts, including email contacts, are part of mi cloud, and all thats no good if phone keeps on crashing and hanging……..

  2. These are just synthetic benchmarks which do not prove whether a device is god or bad,the real world performance is the one that really matters.Personally i have used both,3g one mine and 4g one brother's,and i can clearly tell that in performance and battery 4g one is the winner.3g one is a liitle better in camera and screen brightness(just a little bit).Overall 4g one is the better of the two,go with 3g only if you want a dual sim functionality.

  3. i'm not here to bash on 3g variant, my 4g phone runs asphalt 8 perfectly smooth on high settings and my friends 3g variant which he purchased few months before lags on high settings …..yes indeed if you compare a quadcore with a octa-core ,the octa-core will win, but i don't see much difference because on 3g variant, it is cheap mediatek chipset yup i said cheap! Qualcomm produces way better cheapsets seriously

  4. +C4ETech Though 3g has higher benchmarks but in day to day usage 4g is more stable and there are lags in 3g variant… it may be because of the difference in android versions.. xiaomi has to work on giving updates to its mid range devices seriously..

  5. The reason the 4G is slow.on 3D graphics in antutu is dynamic shadows…3G variant does not have dynamic shadow support and runs gl es 2 while 4G variant has open gl es 3.0

  6. The 3G version runs better with benchmarks, but gallery scrolling, browser scrolling and home pagge scrolling is generally better on the 4G variant.

Most of the other aspects of the phone remains similar.
