Have a break… Have an Android Kitkat.

The latest version of Android is now available on your Nexus 7 2013 model. And here are three little Easter egg secrets to enjoy.

Go to settings and scroll down to ‘About tablet’. In this screen the Android version is listed which is now 4.4. Tap that number several times and the current screen will fade away into a giant K to represent the name of the current Android version, which is Kitkat.

Now you can swipe this K for a little twirl, or long press on it to reveal this lovely Android splash screen.

But it doesn’t end there either because if you long press on this screen it will dissolve away into this tiled collection of pictures that you can tap and play with. Doesn’t this all look a little Windows 8.1?

  1. I found another easter egg. It is very close where you start the first egg. Same menu. The build number, tap that a few times. I still don't get it. So if anyone is willing to try, go ahead. Tell me if you know what it means? It won't screw with anything, I promise. It just a little egg I found.
