  1. Yes and No. Yes for emerging markets and the fact that whoever makes the hardware gets some of the money so Google isn't getting a full sale. So it would make sense if Google is trying to get more money on hardware. No because they are basically just making the nexus program compete.

  2. It's good… compition will increase… but they have to provide top class specs & also new features to… & pleasseeee can they add sd card & removable battery with that android vanilla experience…

  3. As you said, I would love to see Google phones for emerging markets. The phones should be cheap (As Google can bear less profit) yet powerful enough to run almost all android stuff smoothly, similar to Android One. Not interested in flagships, as Nexus lineup is doing good.

  4. Yes! A Google phone – with TOP specs and compete with Samsung. Nexus phones are great, but leave them as they are with mid-high specs and give us pure Android on a top spec'd phone.

  5. Of course there is a need for another phone. Samsung has the S7, S7 Edge and the "Note 7." While iPhone has 6, 6s and the plus variants. Google should definitely supply consumers with another outstanding device.
