Lisa Gade reviews the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, Apple’s new phones for 2015. Both phones are nearly identical to the previous iPhone 6 generation models in terms of casing and design, but the internals have changed quite a bit. They’re .2 mm thicker and a few grams heavier to accommodate the new 3D Touch display that’s pressure sensitive for new interactions and for drawing as well. These iPhones run on considerably faster thanks to the new 1.86 GHz Apple A9 dual core, 64 bit CPU with 2 gigs of RAM and your choice of 16, 64 or 128 gigs storage.

The front FaceTime camera is 5MP and it can use the front display as a flash. The rear Sight 12MP camera can shoot 4K video (only the 6s Plus has OIS, optical image stabilization). 1. can you surf the web and make phone calls at the same time without using wifi like on every android phone ever yet? when i moved to apple i was highly dissapointed with the fact that i cant do that. i will not upgrade till that is available. please advise…

  2. For those of you that changed from an Android phone to Apple are you regretting it? I have had an Apple before but it was an 4s. I have had a note 3 and 4 since. Each phone has their good features but think I'm about ready to go back to iPhone. Seems my Samson's starts to act up at about the year timeline, and I'm not to crazy about the Note 5 because of the glass back. Thanks for any feedback.

  3. 16gb is adequate for some people but Apple have gone and screwed up by pre-installing some crap apps wasting valuable space needed by users e.g. (news, game centre, health app, iBooks etc). Look Apple I don't need all that shit pre-installed in my phone so get it out. I used to love Apple during days of Steve Jobs – but not anymore..

  4. While this is a nice 'Review', it would be nice to hear from someone who actually understood the features of the phone. It's obvious that she doesn't know what a live photo is, and didn't know to 3D Touch the photo to actually activate the Live effect. It's not just the half a second that she said it was. Live photos are extremely cool, and are a great addition to the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
