iOS 9.3 is OUT | Should you update if you are iCloud locked or waiting for Jailbreak?
iOS 9.3 was finally released during the 21 March 2016 Apple event where they also revealed iPhone SE and the new iPAD PRO after 6 developer beta versions. As a system, iOS 9.3 does NOT offer something very exciting, just a couple of new tools, such as Night Shift (reduces the blue light during the night usage), Touch ID / Password protected notes and updated Health and News apps.

Should I update if I am waiting for a Jailbreak?
NO. First of all, chances are for the same thing that happened with iOS 9.1 to happen again. Out of the blue, we can see a Jailbreak tool again, therefore, I suggest staying on iOS 9.2.1 until you see a Jailbreak release on 9.3

Should I update if I am iCloud Locked?
No. As you can see, the main feature of iOS 9.3, Night shift, IS NOT COMPATIBLE with iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPhone 5C (x32 devices), this confirming once again my theory about these 3 devices being dropped…

  1. My 6S plus still installs 720p iTunes movies over wifi from the cloud. The screen is 1080p yet still installs 720p movies.

Sync 1080p video into your iPhone from your PC. Only install 1080p file then sync from the 4S up to the 6S plus.

Example… Avatar is 5.3GB 720p when installed over wifi from the cloud.

However sync with iPhone and 1080p file in PC installs 6.5GB!! Test for yourself.

Apple has devices locked on 720p for iTunes movies purchased on your account.

  2. how long do you think that the jailbreak for ios 9.2.1 is out ? And thx for the advice to stay in ios 9.2.1 because for iPhone 5c nothing changes with iOS 9.3 👍🏻
