We review the HTC One A9 and its Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor’s gaming performance. Paired with either 2GB or 3GB RAM depending on your region, the HTC One A9 is the first smartphone to ship with the new processor from Qualcomm, and while it doesn’t benchmark too well, it still manages to plough through virtually all Google Play games we threw at it.

  1. Good phone to get if your child likes Android but doesn't want to get bullied for it and if you can't afford an iPhone. Last time I checked, it's out for £21/mth or something.

    Also, these PPSSPP settings work the best for me: Render Res: 1X PSP, Screen Res: 1X PSP.
    Performance: O,V,V,V,O,O,V,Low
    Hack settings: O,O,O,O,V,V,Aggressive
    Emulation: V,O,V,Fast,O,333
    PSP Settings: PSP-1000
    Also, frameskip 1 and buffered rendering.
