I am a former ballerina with the New York City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.

On my channel I make ballet, beauty, and lifestyle videos for everyone of all ages. My goal is help dancers improve and achieve their dreams as well as open up the ballet world to non dancers. You will see many different kinds of how-to videos here including makeup, hair, ballet workouts and exercises, Q and A sessions, lifestyle advice, and DIY on this…

  2. You are a savior! My dance teacher has underestimated me for so long! She was shocked that I could even do a fouetté out of a pique turn. This has helped me soooo much! I'm going to show her tomorrow, that I can do more than just one ok fouetté!

  3. What should i do if i cant do fouettes to practice but my fouettes go good when i have to do them do you have any tips for getting fouettes for just practicing them at home. +kathrynmorgan

  4. I have watched so many videos on tips for fouette turns or how to do a fouette turn and none of them have helped or were very good at explaining. This video has helped me so so so much. Thank you😘

  5. Your note about the imaginary string is so dead on! I hadn't done an forte en pointe in ten years because I lost the technique. My daughter, being the real ballerina, laughs at my attempts in soft shoes. But, as soon as you mentioned the string, I had the aha moment and did a fairly respectable, mom forte! It's not often that I get a jaw drop out of the daughter… thanks for that! You are the best.

  6. Hi I can dance but I'm not that flexible! Im a jazz dancer but I still want to learn fouettés. Do you have to be able to do the splits to be good at this or not because I can't do the splits yet :(
