I had some issues with my Samsung Galaxy S7 while swimming in the ocean (Gulf of Mexico) in Florida. As you may already know the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge is IP68 water-resistant (I did not say water-proof).

It took about an hour for my sound and headphones start working again even though it was not perfect until a few more hours later. My usb charging port took about 10 hours to start working properly. Also, because of the movement of the water a few times while video recording underwater it did stop automatically. Other then these minor issues I am still happy with the results.

I just wished for this video footage, I would have seen some fish and/or turtles like I did with my Galaxy S5 in Bangkok which is IP67:
