  1. I'm an m8 user ,and doesnt want to say that the m8 are faster but HTC has an option to turn on high performance mode in the developer option while the Samsung doesn't .. So maybe you switched that on.. Try switching off and make another test

  2. i just picked up my M8. swapped from a GS3(POS) but ive always been a GS fan. Not gonna lie. the M8 feels better. more responsive. and its all aluminium. i think the GS5 got so far behind from the Camera is due to the amount of pixels it has to process. but. im a fan boy of my M8 now.

  3. I got a HTC one m8 3 days ago but when I load up youtube vids at the same time as my galaxy s3, the s3 wins everytime by at least 2-3 secs. Should this be happenin? Battery saver is off and all apps have been closed down on both phones. Im very disappointed. Any ideas? Don't think the handset is faulty either…

  4. Ok, first of all, did you have s voice homebutton double press disabled? That makes the phone slower because it waits a little so you can double press the homebutton if you wanna use the s voice. Also, the animations and transitions are slower in the s5 to prevent dizziness for some users, but you can make them twice or 4 times as fast by enabling the developer's options (go to phone info, tap version repeatedly until it tells you to stop, go to developer's options, go to the animations, change x1 to x0.5 or no animations.
