Apple Announces the Date of Its Annual World Wide Developers Conference

Apple has invited the international media for its annual World Wide Developers Conference. The invitation shows that the conference this year will take place from 13 to 17 June in San Francisco. Apple’s WWDC event is traditionally held to make several announcements.

Every year Apple’s WWDC kicks off with a ‘keynote speech “in which Apple CEO Tim Cook makes several product announcements. Apple’s WWDC is held every year to share with the world how the company is doing and how the company sees the future.

iOS 10

Traditionally, the latest version of the iOS operating system for the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch is unveiled during WWDC. This year is the introduction of iOS 10 expected.

IOS 10 operating system will likely be available around September for existing iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch music players. The new iPhones will probably be launched in September that will run on iOS 10. The keynote during WWDC will thus already have some details of the new iPhone to come.

In addition to the announcement of iOS 10, a new version of the Mac OS X operating system for Mac computers is also expected to be launched. It is suggested that Apple will change the name to MacOS. Simultaneously Apple may also introduce one or some new Mac computers and / or notebooks.

Hint Invitation?

Apple often hints the major announcements that will do the business at its invitations. What strikes this year in Apple’s invitation is that the company refers to the greeting “Hello World”. Anyone who embarks on a course for a programming language, learn these two words, the first to be ‘programmed’. This could indicate that Apple is going to do a great new software announcement at the WWDC.

These suspicions are highlighted by the writing style of the date. The way Apple displays this (the date is between / * listed) refers to the way programmers write notes in their programming. Everything between the / * noted is generally shown only in the code, but not to the users.

The WWDC is June 13 at 10 am local time kicked off with a keynote from Apple CEO Tim Cook. This keynote can be watched with all the Apple devices via a streaming video link.
